The Ultimate Guide of Zuchon Puppies

Zuchon (also called Shichon) is a combination of the pure bichon race and the Shih Tzu race. They are known as "teddy bears" because of their similar appearance. We have a hybrid breed document from ACHC showing that our pup is half breed as we mention.

These puppies are always colored like Shih-Tzu but have a longer nose (which comes from the Bichon Frize). This pup has a great personality and is great with kids! They weigh between 10 and 16 kilograms on average. Even though we have younger ones, it all depends on the parents. You can also buy a cute teddy bear Zuchon via

The Zuchon is a mixed breed of dog – a cross between the Shih Tzu and Bichon Frize, also known as the Bichon Shih Tzu Mix. This is a small breed of dog about 6 to 12 inches tall at the shoulder and weighing between 5 and 15 pounds. Zuchon's life expectancy is around 15 to 18 years.

Zuchons are intelligent animals, but not in the traditional sense. Yes, you can train them, and they like to do tricks to please their owners. However, they are very good at reading their environment and adjusting their behavior.

This breed is very intuitive; They have an innate ability to understand human behavior, which makes them ideal therapy dogs as well as excellent pets for people looking for communication. Their flexibility allows them to add to almost any household and even live happily in an apartment.

Their calm nature makes her great with kids. Zuchons also lack a hunting instinct, which usually means they are good around other animals. Even though there is no aggression, they are great guards. They usually let you know when someone is at the door. Rest assured, Zuchons are not known for barking excessively or for no reason.

As we said before, Zuchons are very devoted to their owners. However, they require a lot of love and care in return, which may not be practical if you don't have the time.

These dogs fail alone for long periods. Loneliness can make them depressed and suffer separation anxiety. So, if you're planning on leaving the dog for most of the day, the Zuchon might not be for you.
